UPDATE: Jake had been promised by our team that he'd have a forever family by Christmas 2015... PROMISE KEPT!!!
Ah... Good day, my friends!
Jake here... Jacob Lovesaball, that is, but my friends call me 'Jake.' I am one dashing gentleman looking for my place in this world. You see, quite a few too many humans have given up on me BUT oh the joy and love I found at Raleigh Community Animal Hospital!
Since my arrival here, I've been educating myself immensely on what it is to be loved and to love in return - on what it is to be found and to trust I'll never be lost again - on what sit and stay and down and come and shake means to humans and how I should abide when a command is given.
I assuredly need a confident and patient hand when adjusting to new surroundings and creatures but I must toot my own horn - I am doing splendidly with such.
There is a rub with me, however; I am not perfect, nor do I claim to be - obedience classes would do you and I well, but I promise, I am a swift learner and with just a pinch of that confidence and patience, I am certain we would become the best of partners.
As my fellow home away from home could testify, I am enthralled with a game of fetch and afterwards, I can't wait to curl up by your side.
ah... I must be going... I just caught wind of a new tennis ball but come meet me soon - I promise you'll have a hard time walking away from my happy self!
Oh - a few last words - I am six years old, full grown at 65 pounds, vaccinated, neutered, with all the Lab-lovin' inside of me your world can handle.
Much love and good day, my friend!
