Dr. Teresa Danford grew up training dogs and showing horses in Upstate New York. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin and stayed to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1999. Upon graduation, Dr. Teresa worked in rural Wisconsin hospitals until she moved to Raleigh in 2004. When not caring for your furry-family-members, Dr. Teresa manages the busy lives of her 12 and 15 year-old-sons. Tyler Hodinka, VMD
Dr. Hodinka grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Wofford College in South Carolina. Upon completion, Dr. Hodinka pursued his doctorate of veterinary medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and moved to North Carolina after graduation. Dr. Hodinka's professional interests include small animal internal medicine, surgery, and exotic companion animal medicine (especially reptiles, small mammals, and amphibians). In his spare time, Dr. Hodinka enjoys hiking, cooking, and woodworking.
Samantha Jonas – Hospital Supervisor
Samantha was born and raised on the Outer Banks of North Carolina until she moved to the Raleigh area in the fall of 2008, specifically to have the opportunity to work with animals. Sam is currently attending Penn Foster to become an RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician), with graduation set for December of 2017. Samantha lives in Cary, with her husband, Mark, and their two daughters, Saviya and Mayla. Their fur babies consist of a 5 year old American Pitbull Terrier named Zola, and three cats that she hand-raised. Samantha, also, worked as a Wildlife Rehabilitator with Wildlife Welfare, Inc. Stephen Wolfe, Jr. - Community Outreach/Client Services Manager
'...unconditional love is not a one way street... unconditional love is given to us to do something with' and such is the life of Stephen (Phen) Wolfe, Jr. Phen has committed his life to serving others and making a difference. Phen's passionate vision into animal welfare began with a cat named 'P' (ask him about his tattoo dedicated to that illustrious cat), and continues with a tripod-cat named Que; a mauled-bait-dog, Benson; an auction-won puppy, Alou; his dream-dog - an Aussie cattle dog - Azul; and too-many (but-always-room-for-one) more! Phen's education and experience with animals is vast; not only in veterinary hospital skills, but also, extensively in animal rescue work, from puppy-mill and dog-fighting-ring raids to animal cruelty cases and rehabilitation. Phen, formerly, served as Vice-President of a local Animal Rescue and on the Board of Directors for Johnston County Youth Services; in addition to serving as a County and District Leader for the Humane Society of the United States and the North Carolina Voters for Animal Welfare. Ryan Nickason - Trainer
Ryan was born and raised in upstate New York and graduated from SUNY Oswego with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. Ryan came to the Raleigh area in the Fall of 2013, after graduating college, and began working at a dog daycare and boarding facility. With a desire to expand his experience and expertise with animals, Ryan pursued a position within the veterinary field and has continued to expand his horizons with pets, medically and behaviorally. Ryan currently lives in Raleigh with his three pups and cat: Polo, Libby, Pepper, Ashton and Nala.

Jennifer Klima - Veterinary Assitant
Jennifer was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs and graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. In 2014, Jen moved to Raleigh and decided to pursue a career that followed her passion for animals, beginning and managing at a local dog daycare/boarding facility and now with us in the veterinary field. Jen currently lives in Willow Springs with her husband, Brandon, and their four rescued fur-children: Archer, Kamryn, Coraline, and Addison.

Jordan Briggs - Veterinary Assistant
Jordan is from Kernersville, NC and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from NC State in 2012. After graduation,, Jordan moved to Kenya for two years to teach at a girl's high school with a non-profit organization. After returning to the United States and moving back to the Raleigh area, Jordan applied and was accepted into NC State's College of Veterinary Medicine to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. Jordan is passionate about providing affordable, quality veterinary care with exceptional client education to empower pet-parents to make the best decisions for their pets. Jordan desires to move back to East Africa as an equine veterinarian (her favorite animal is donkey's) to impact, influence, and educate donkey owners about their health and husbandry requirements, which are among the most misunderstood due to a lack of reliable veterinary resources. Jordan lives in Raleigh, with her husband, Dustin and their fluffy black kitty, Binx.
Antoniette Gubitosi - Daycare/Boarding Attendant
Antoniette was born and raised in New Jersey, moving to NC with her 6 sisters in 2010. Antoniette graduated from Medical Arts School in 2012, yet having had a strong passion for animals since an early age, opted to pursue a career involving pets. In addition to this strong passion for animals, Antoniette has kept a personal promise of not harming one by being a vegetarian for the past 17 years. Antoniette lives in Clayton, NC, with her husband, Brant, and their three pups and one cat: Booger, Bear, Boone, and Brooklyn.

Kevin Mikrut - Daycare/Boarding Attendant
Kevin was born and raised in Elmhurst , IL. and recently moved to North Carolina. Kevin has extensive experience in animal care, having worked as an Assistant Kennel Manager at a daycare/boarding facility in Illinois for 2 1/2 years. Kevin has a vast love for rescued animals, with four foster-failures being his own: Reese, Zoey, Summer, and Robyn.
Jenna Bradley - Veterinary Assistant + Daycare/Boarding Attendant
Jenna was born in Illinois and raised in the Asheville area. Jenna has a zeal for animal welfare and care and is currently pursuing that passion at NC State. Jenna is an avid reader and enjoys any opportunity in a kitchen to try new recipes.
Roseann Bluler - Keeper of the Books
Roseann moved to Raleigh, almost 20 years ago, bringing her passion for perfection and love of animals from Upstate New York. Roseann has been involved with animals her whole life in a wide variety of ways: from training and showing horses, raising guiding eye puppies, and being a part of a therapy dog program at Wake Med Children's Hospital, Roseann's gentle ways and dedication have shown through.
