From full-service, quality medical care to small group doggie-daycare; from top-notch boarding facilities to the fine comb of a finesse groom, and from weekly training classes to all the TLC we can muster, we strive to address and assist in all areas of your pet’s care and well-being; thus, we are pleased to offer the following services at our Raleigh location, found on Dresser Court, just down from the Duke Raleigh Hospital Campus on Wake Forest Road:
Our appointments are scheduled so that you and your pet can be seen promptly. We do accept walk-in’s; however, appointments will be given first priority. Upon scheduling your appointment, our team members will attempt to accommodate all your requests to the best of our ability. We are open late on Tuesday and Thursday, and even have weekend hours to accommodate the busiest of schedules. Appointments may be requested by calling 919.948.4210 or through our website.
Emergencies are accepted anytime our Hospital is open.
If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately. If possible, it is best to call ahead of time so that our team can advise you on your particular emergency and anticipate your arrival.
DAILY AFFORDABLE VACCINATIONS:
You don't have to wait in long lines for low cost vaccinations. Our everyday prices are comparative with many "specials" at other hospitals or pet store clinics. When you speak with our Doctor, we can make certain that your pet has the proper immunizations and care that fit their lifestyle and your wallet, not just a package of unneeded vaccinations.
Our experienced veterinarians diagnose and treat various illnesses. Emphasizing prevention and education, our team strives to empower pet owners and improve their pet's overall health. Please ask our team about these following specializations, including but not limited to:
* Treatment for Infectious Disease and Prevention of Parasites
* Cardiac and Pulmonary Diseases (including Heartworm Disease)
* Metabolic Diseases (Diabetes, Kidney Failure, Cushings, and Liver Diseases)
Raleigh Community Animal Hospital has a broad range of surgical services from spay and neuters to limb amputation and eye removal; from mass removals to foreign body exploratory. To insure the comfort, health, and safety of your pet, we utilize IV catheters and pre-op blood testing; in addition to our state-of-the-art equipment to monitor the heart, lungs, and vital organs during surgery.
Dogs and cats need a dentist, too. Our team is skilled with the latest technology to better serve you with preventative teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing, along with extractions.
We don’t believe in nickeling and diming the care and attention of our clients and patients; instead, our philosophy is simple: ‘…do it the way it should be done.’ The upper floor of our hospital is dedicated and accommodates our feline and canine boarding operations and exemplifies how boarding-a-pet should be done.
