"Dr. Teresa is a fantastic diagnostic vet who takes the time to find out about you and your pet as part of the diagnostic process, she doesn't just throw a bunch of tests out there hoping to find something. She evaluates behavior, behavioral changes and environmental changes in conjunction with any testing and I just love this about her - something that a lab might not consider significant, Dr. Teresa looks at the big picture and recognizes that it might be important. And this kind of personal service takes time - time that you don't get from most other vet hospitals. Her pricing is reasonable and fair, a lot of that saved on unnecessary labs - and they have a lab in house for most things which means you can walk out the door with a treatment plan in many cases! I was thrilled to hear she was opening her own hospital and it's a wonderful facility with a wonderful, intelligent, and caring staff."

"I am so grateful I found them. Earlier this year I realized something wasn't quite right with my pup's back legs. I bounced around to a few clinics based upon referrals and convenience of location. They gave helpful advice about what was wrong and the surgery needed but didn't seem to care much about the actual my fur child. Then I found Dr. Teresa! Roscoe just had two surgeries through their office and I couldn't be happier with the care they took with him. They made me feel like he was in good hands, sent me pictures, and have been amazing with follow up. I'm a bit of an over worrier and Dr. Teresa met me yesterday when the office was closed to check him out when I had concern. The whole staff is amazing and I put full trust in them! Thank you for what you do. Oh, and it definitely doesn't hurt that they are SO much less expensive than anywhere else I went!"

"Such an amazing vet! They are very upfront about everything they are doing with your pet and are very caring! I have been taking my pups to see them for over a year now. They even set up a "drive through" to still see pets during this crazy virus. My puppy got an ear infection during all of this and I was still able to make an appointment for her to be seen. Once I got there I called to let them know we'd arrived and the vet came to see her while my pup remained in the car. The vet then went and examined the sample and brought me out ear drops for her. Just very thankful that they made a way to still see patients while keeping their staff safe!!"

"My dog gets particularity stressed out at the vets office and its always hard to keep him relaxed once inside. Raleigh Community Animal Hospital was amazing, I called ahead and they ushered us right inside and into a room so there was no waiting room stress. The employees are always so kind and helpful and make sure I understand exactly what is going on. Definitely the most welcoming office I've ever been to."

"I can’t say enough good things about RCAH! They take such great care of my Josie girl, and she loves everyone who works there so much she sprints into the building every time we go! They also have awesome boarding and daycare programs. I decided late in the game that I wanted to leave for Memorial Day weekend, and they managed to find space for Josie even though they were already slammed. "We recently took our dog in for a dental cleaning. We were informed of every detail before the appointment, as well as when arriving for the procedure. Afterwards, we were told exactly how it went and what to be aware of after anesthesia. They even called us a day later to make sure Bryson was doing well. Everything about this was excellent. The care and expertise of the technicians is superlative. I highly recommend having this done before your pet has a dental issue. 🐾"

"I just wanted to say how awesome it is that RCAH allows intact dogs in their daycare. I have an intact 18-month-old Rhodesian Ridgeback who is a show dog and will not be neutered. I didn’t even think daycare was an option for him until I found RCAH. They do a great job managing the dogs in different playgroups and I always feel safe leaving him there. Thank you so much!!"

"Dr. Teresa Danford is the best vet we have ever had in many years of trying to find one that cares for our animals beautifully and treats us with respect. She and her staff are kind and compassionate with people and pets--as well as being wonderfully skilled veterinary professionals. After getting substandard care from a prestigious "inside the beltline" practice that charges three times what Dr. T does for the same services, I took my animals to Raleigh Community Animal Hospital and discovered what quality, compassionate vet care really is. My Phoebe Fae is a fat little cat with an, ahhh, "assertive" disposition, but the folks at RCAH love her anyway, and have saved her from painful conditions twice now. Our little boy cat Ollie had his kitten-making equipment removed and never even missed it. (Them). They all work so hard, and no matter how tired they are or how trying patients/owners may be, they are honest, efficient, friendly and kind. Best of all they don't price their services so high that you simply can't afford them, which many Triangle vets do. Thanks again, RCAH staff and Dr. T.! You are the best!!!!"
