Doggie Day Care

Doggie Day Care

Daycare services are available for hospital clients only. If you are not already a hospital client, we invite you to become one so your pet can enjoy a day of recreation in our safe and comfortable environment. Just call us for a wellness exam or routine care appointment and we'll be happy to arrange your future daycare reservation too.

Equipped with specialized flooring and air-controlled rooms, our entire upstairs is dedicated to doggie-daycare and our boarding operations. Our entire outdoor area is surrounded by a 6’ fence, with segmented fences that facilitate one large and two small play-yards. These play-yards allow for personalized play-times catered to temperament, size, and activity level; because tiny dogs need some protection from the crazy ones and some our seniors need time away from our juniors!

While fostering a ‘crate free’ atmosphere is a grand idea, the reality is that nap-time in the midst of a extended day of play makes for happier dogs. Plus, safety is of the highest importance and having the accommodations to separate a dog that may be overstimulated or rambunctious for a few minutes is key to keeping your pup safe. It is for this reason that a separate resting room is adjacent to the main play area. Our state-of-the-art kennel facilities will be used for short times while we juggle your furry kids from our indoor to outdoor play and for those restful moments!

Here at Raleigh Community, we don't discriminate against any breed or behavior of dog (including intact); however, each dog that attends doggie-daycare will be assessed as to their group play categories. Managing the personalities of a group of dogs is an ongoing process and we always maintain the right to separate animals into smaller groups or into smaller spaces, with a promise to you that we will do everything we can to safely accommodate your pup for a jolly good time. Our goal is to set each pup up for success and we want each day with your pup to be a positive experience!

Doggie-daycare can be done by the day or with a 10-day or 20-day pass that NEVER expires! We do require that all dogs be up to date on their Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella vaccines, along with a fecal examination within the past 6 months.

Risks:
Owners acknowledge that dogs are unpredictable in behavior, and are aware of the risks involved in off-leash, interactive play, and assume all risks.

Safety Issues:

In order to maintain a safe play environment for the dogs, we reserve the right to remove any dog from daycare.

Health:
Any dog with vomiting, diarrhea, cough, or warts (or any other contagious disease) will be removed from daycare and will not be able to socialize with other dogs until this problem has been resolved. However, they can still hang out for the day as a day-boarder if needed.

Cancellation Policy:
To participate in our doggie-daycare activities, reservations are REQUIRED. If your pet does not have a reservation on any given day, we reserve the right to turn you away or if space allows, we may offer you our day-boarding services where your pup is let out (at least) 4 times throughout the day but not included in group play.

If you must cancel or reschedule your reservation, please call us no less than 24 hours prior to your scheduled reservation.

You will be charged the equivalent of one full day of doggie-daycare if you fail to cancel your reservation for daycare without a 24 hour notice or no show on your reserved date.

All dogs in daycare must fill out a daycare admission form every six months. You can download and print that form here
